CHANGE IN ITINERARY:
When practical, Carnival will promptly notify guests of a pre-cruise change through their travel agent. Carnival will offer such guests an opportunity to cancel without penalty within 24 hours. No additional compensation for the itinerary change will be offered. If an itinerary change occurs while a ship is at sea or when notice prior to sailing is not feasible, Carnival will attempt to substitute an alternative port. No compensation will be provided when an alternative port is offered. If an alternative port is not provided, guests will receive a shipboard credit of $20 per guest. RESERVATIONS:
You may begin booking your cabin on SEPTEMBER 1, 2009 !
All rates (US Dollars) are per person and include all port charges and government fees. Cabins are capacity controlled. Each category has a designated number of held cabins and will be allotted on a first come, first serve basis. Once a category allotment has been filled, guests will be offered another category at the advertised price.
THIRD/FOURTH GUESTS:
Triple and Quad rates are available upon request and accommodations are subject to availability.
FUEL SUPPLEMENT:
Carnival Cruise Lines reserves the right to reinstate the fuel supplement for all guests at up to $9 per person per day for 1st and 2nd guests and up to $4 per person per day for the 3rd and 4th guests. Prices may be reinstated should the price of light crude oil according to the NYMEX increase above $70.00 per barrel.
DINING TABLE ASSIGNMENTS:
Main seating - 6 PM – has been requested for the group. You can, however, request late seating - 8:15 PM – at time of booking. We will do our best to fulfill your request; however, dining is assigned by your booking date so book early! Your group will be seated in the same section of the dining room. Please let us know if you have a request to be seated with friends.
GRATUTIES:
$50.00 per guest to cover the dining room team service, alternative dining service, and room steward will be applied to your shipboard Sail & Sign account.
AIR TRANSPORTATION FEES FOR FLY AWEIGH AIR/SEA GUESTS:
Air can be purchased through Carnival Air department and does include round-trip transfers to and from the cruise terminal. You can purchase your own air but your flight should arrive in Miami before 2:30 PM on October 9th and should not depart Miami before 11:30 AM on October 14th . Round-trip transfers may be purchased from Carnival for $ 32 per person.
DEPOSITS:
A full deposit of $200 per person is due at time of booking. Using a credit card for your deposit is encouraged since your cabin can immediately be held. Final payment will be August 1, 2010 and may be made using your credit card or by personal check made out to Sebastian Travel & Tours. A payment reminder will be sent out in July 2010.
PASSPORT REGULATIONS:
We strongly recommend that all guests travel with a valid passport during their cruise. This will enable guests to fly from the US to meet their ship at the first port should they miss their scheduled embarkation, and allow guests that must debark before their cruise ends to fly back to the US without significant delays and complications.
CANCELLATION POLICY:
There is no penalty for any cancellation received before August 1, 2010 (final payment date). A $200 per person penalty will be assessed for cancellations made within 60-30 days prior to sailing. 50% of total fare per person for cancellations made within 59-8 days prior to sailing. 100% of total fare per person for cancellations made within7 days of sailing and for “no shows”.
CANCELLATION AND MEDICAL PROTECTION:
As you can see, cruise lines apply penalties for cabin cancellation from the date of final payment to the date of sail. We also recommend cancellation and medical protection insurance since Medicare and most secondary insurance companies do not cover out-of-country medical care. The cancellation portion of the policy reimburses for penalties applied by Carnival for covered, documented reasons such as injury, illness, death in family or with traveling companion, etc. and will cover pre-existing conditions if purchased within 14 days of making your reservation. Emergency medical and dental care, emergency medical transportation, baggage losses, etc. ( See the brochure enclosed with your packet). ** Insurance must be paid for by check to Sebastian Travel & Tours and received within 14 days of your deposit to cover pre-existing conditions. **
